Vegetable / Mushrooms Pickers Needed
We, Guang Yu 2009 Pty Ltd TA Gooda Creek Mushrooms, are based in Murrumbateman, NSW have a mushroom farm and have vacancies for full-time Vegetable/Mushroom Pickers.
The role of position includes performing day-to-day tasks in producing crops like mushroom or any other vegetables crops on farm.
Qualification requirements:
AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education with on-job training.For some occupations, a short period of on-the-job training may be required in addition to or replac-ing the formal qualification.
In some cases, no formal qualification or on-the-job training may be required Responsibilities:
1. Building vegetable or mushroom greenhouses and temperature-controlled containers using hand tools and farm machines2. Setting up mushroom shelves for climbing and picking3. Operating farm machines to cultivate, fertilise, spray and harvest vegetables and mushrooms4. Spraying with chemicals to control bacteria growth, insects, fungus growth and diseases5. Cleaning and sterilizing greenhouse inner & external environment for mushroom growth6. Selecting and picking mushrooms according to size and ripeness, and discarding rotting and over-ripened produce7. Grading, sorting, bunching, and packing produce into containers8. Loading filled mushroom packages containers onto trucks9. Processing mushroom growth packages after mushroom ripeness Salary – AUD $68863 plus super
